25 European supervisory authorities have joined forces for this year's coordinated supervisory action. The theme is transparency — whether businesses are actually providing people with the information they are entitled to when their personal data is processed. The EDPB launched the action on March 19, 2026, and the supervisory authorities will contact businesses in various sectors throughout 2026.

Check that Privacy policy Your privacy policy tells people what you process, why, who you share it with, and how long you keep it. Can a new employee read it and understand it? Then it's good enough.
